Welcome to Houston Audubon World Travel Program
Welcome to Houston Audubon Society’s Birding and Natural History World Travel Program!  Our tours are designed to provide a unique learning experience through visits to domestic and foreign sites that are key habitats for birds and other wildlife. Each tour will focus on natural history, bird habitat, ecological systems, and habitat conservation.

Many of North America’s breeding birds spend much of their lives in Mexico, Central, and South America. Visiting these areas through Houston Audubon’s educational tours program will foster a greater understanding and deeper appreciation of migratory birds and their astounding bi-annual journeys. Participants will learn about the habitat “our” birds need when over-wintering in the tropics and will see first hand the importance of networking with other conservation organizations.

Houston Audubon Tours will be led by Houston-based naturalist Glenn Olsen or another qualified naturalist, in partnership with Tropical Birding, Birding America, or other internationally renowned bird tour operator. All proceeds will directly support Houston Audubon Society’s habitat conservation, education, and advocacy programs.

Please note: This program is also able to offer custom trips to over 40 different countries. Please call 409-515-0514 for details.
